It is in Wyoming Co. I see that Nicholson, PA is also in Wyoming Co. Factoryville is due south of Nicholson. Both are in upper eastern part of Wyoming Co, PA. The nearest large city is Scanton which is SE of them. Anne Wiley Hughes provides place name for event as "Susquehanna Co., PA" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On May 29, 2005 Linda Romero writes:"I have Russell Capwell and Sophia Mullison Jones as her parents, but when I got that information I neglected to note where I got it from." My response to her includes: "In that we have Maria shown with a surname of 'Capwell', it would make sense to us the her father's surname should be 'Capwell', unless one of several scenerios come into play...a.] The 'Capwell' name comes from a prior marriage, which is doubtful if our dates are correct and she married at about age 18; and b.] another more plausible, could be that her surname was actually Jones and that 'Capwell' was given her as a middle name following her father having that same 2nd given name.
