Robert's death was registered in 1869 in the Dewsbury registration district.3

In the census of 7 April 1861 at Townsend, Morley, Yorkshire, she was listed as aged 41 born Morley, the wife of John HOLSTEAD (a Woollen Cloth Weaver, living with his wife Ann, sons William and Solomon, daighters Ellen and Rebecca, son-in-law Robert Hartley NAYLOR and daughter-in-law Anne Hartley NAYLOR.)2

     Timothy HALSTEAD was born in 1824 at Thornhill, Yorkshire. He was the son of John HOLSTEAD and Ellen PEACE. Timothy HALSTEAD was baptised on 14 March 1824 at Holy & Undivided Triniity, Ossett, Yorkshire. In the census of 6 June 1841 at Gillroyds, Morley, Yorkshire, he was listed as a Wool Willower, aged 15 born in county, the assumed son of John HOLSTEAD.1

He was a Mechanic aged 20, a bachelor residing in Northowram. His father was listed as William RAMSDEN, a Surveyor. After Banns. The marriage was witnessed by John DESDEN and Martha HALSTEAD.1,2 In the census of 7 April 1861 at 4 Mason Street, Northowram, Yorkshire, he was listed as married, a Flax Mechanic, aged 21 born Northowram, the son-in-law of John HALSTEAD.3
James died on 27 February 1907 and his death was registered in the Halifax registration district. The death registration shows an age of 64 though his gravestone in St Thomas, Claremont shows an age of 66.4
