In the census of 30 March 1851 at Prnicess Street, Bury, Lancashire, Henry was listed as aged 43 born Burnley, the Head of Household; a Mechanic, living with his wife Mary A, sons William, Henry and James, daughters Margaret and Mary A.2
In the census of 7 April 1861 at 21 Trinity Street, Bury, Lancashire, Henry was listed as aged 53 born Habergham Eaves, the Head of Household; a Proprietor of Houses, living with his wife Mary A, son Henry, daughters Mary A and Emma.3
Henry died on 6 January 1868 at 21 Trinity Street, Bury, Lancashire.4

     George HALSTEAD was born in 1818 at Bolton, Lancashire. He was the son of John HALSTEAD and Sarah (?). In the census of 6 June 1841 at Frederick Street, Bury, Lancashire, he was listed as an Iron Moulder, aged 24 born in county, the assumed son of Sarah HALSTEAD.1 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Back of Garden Street, Bury, Lancashire, he was listed as single, an Iron Moulder, aged 33 born Bolton, the son of Sarah HALSTEAD.2
George married Frances MEADOWCROFT, daughter of Josiah MEADOWCROFT, in 1851 at St Mary, Bury, Lancashire.3
In the census of 7 April 1861 at 15 Woodfield Lane, Bury, Lancashire, George was listed as aged 44 born Bolton, the Head of Household; an Iron Moulder, living with his wife Frances, sons Joseph, Josiah, Isaac and Richard, daughters Mary and Sarah.4
