Sarah married David HALSTEAD, son of Daniel HALSTEAD and Elizabeth (?), on 16 February 1867 at St Peter, Bradford, Yorkshire. She was a Weaver aged 36, a spinster residing in Manningham. Her father was listed as John DEPLEDGE, a Shoemaker. After Banns. The marriage was witnessed by William HOLMES and Christopher GIBSON.1,2
In the census of 2 April 1871 at Hill Street, Bingley, Yorkshire, she was listed as a Woollen Weaver, aged 32 born Wakefield, the wife of David HALSTEAD (a Woollen Weaver, living with his wife Sarah Ann, daughter Henrietta DEPLEDGE, brother-in-law John DEPLEDGE, nephews Alfred, Hartley and Joseph WHITAKER, niece Sarah Ann WHITAKER, lodger Arthur BENNETT).3
