In the census of 31 March 1901 at 26 Back Cable Street, Huddersfield, Yorkshire, Frederick was listed as aged 46 born Heckmondwike, the Head of Household; a Teamer, living with his wife Mary Hannah, sons Thomas, Ernest and George, daughter Alice.8

Thomas married Elizabeth WOOD on 6 February 1848 at All Saints, Almondbury, Yorkshire. He was a Gropper aged 22, a bachelor residing in Hole Bottom. His father was listed as John HALSTEAD, a Carter. After Banns. The marriage was witnessed by George JARMAIN and James GARNER.1,2

Thomas died on 21 January 1887 at Chapel Hill, Huddersfield, Yorkshire.7
