Migrated/Moved Sep 1908 Morrill, Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska, USA from Port Allegany, McKean County, Pennsylvania to - "at the age of 63 years old, Emma Eliza [Parsons] Fogle traveled by train from Port Allegany, Pennsylvania, to Morrill, Nebraska, and took up a soldier's widow's claim of 150 acres in the "Sheep Creek" community north of Henry, Nebraska; where she resided until her death in 1910.

Cousin John Ross Kinney writes: "I have a postcard written by Emma Parsons Fogle to Mrs William Burr in Eldred PA. It says: "from Mrs. I S Fogle, Morrill Neb. June 25, 1909. My dear friend, Was I tickled to get your postal. Sory (sp) to hear mother was dead. I have been sick. I have sugar diadetes and asthma so bad can't even sleep in my chair. Am dead for sleep. Am some better today. Never was so weak. I have a nice place hear and so has C. but it isn't home. If Sarah was only here. I am so sleepy I could not write even to her. I hope you write me how the girls & all are & what was the cause of your mother's death. How I wish to get hold of you. Love to all"

Mrs. Emma Eliza Parsons Fogle, widow I. S. Fogle, died at Morrill, Nebr. Wednesday, March 9th, 1910. …funeral on Tuesday, Rev Brownbacker of the Presbyterian Church officiating in the absence of her pastor. Present were Mr. And Mrs. A. M. Forgle of Pittsburgh, Pa, Charles Fogle of Merrill, Nebr., Amos Parsons of Elmira, NY, Mathias Fogle of Picture Rocks, Pa.
Mrs. Fogle was born at Columbia Cross Roads on May 19th, 1844 and was early 66 years of age. She married I.S. Fogle , at that time a resident of Fairfield Centre, Pa. on February 8th 1864 when he was home from the front, on a furlough.
Surviving children are Allen M. Fogle, Pittsburgh, Pa, I.N. Fogle, Omaha, Nebr, Mrs. Ira Seyler and Charles Fogle of Merrill, Nebr, Mrs. E. N. Seyler and Mrs. A. E. Roys of Port Allegany
The family were residents of Liberty Township for years and lived in Port Allegany where Mr. Fogle had a sawmill.
Mr. Fogle died several years ago and Mrs. Fogle accompanied her son, Charles, to Nebraska where he proved up on a section of government land and she proved up on a widow's claim adjacent.
