- "Pampa, Texas - A graveside service was held Wednesday, Nov 4, 1998 for Mary Ellen Gardner in Pampa, Texas at the Memory Gardens Cemetery. She was born June 13, 1937 in Wausau, Neb. to Dwane and Isabelle (Hall) Halstead. She graduated from Morrill High School and married Harold (Bud) Gardner in 1955. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1981. She is survived by daughters Nanci Bergman of Edgewood, N.M., Kathy and Pat Gardner of Pampa; sons Randy Gardner of Forsyth, Mont., Rod Gardner of Benbolt, Texas, Steve Gardner of Japan, Bill and Bradley Gardner of Pampa; sisters Cleetta Steininger of So. Milwaukee, Wis., Floeen Morrill and Barb Derr of Morrill [NE]; brother Asa Halstead of Santa Rosa, Calif.; 23 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
