On the 1900 Census (Del. Co/Perry Twsp/Ind/images 16/17), they have date of birth as one of the questions, and it lists Cornelius' birthday as Nov 1857. Also on the 1900 Census (Randolph Co./Nettle Creek Twsp/IN/image 31), Cornelius Halstead is listed as head of household, with a birthdate of Feb 1848. The 1910 Census also continues with two
families where the heads are Cornelius, one in Randolph County and one in Delaware county, same townships as before, same discrepancies in ages. So, we have two Corneliuses running around at the same time. - Hester shows 1848 [#5148, p.123]
