    • *Lt. Samuel Loomis Sr. m. Elizabeth Judd on Dec. 27, 1653 in Windsor, Hartford County CT. Samuel was b. abt. 1628 in Braintree, Essex County, England and D. Oct. 1, 1689 in Westfield, Hampden, Co., MA. Samuel was listed as a member of a church in Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, in 1661. He was made freeman in 1654. Samuel later moved to Westfield, Mass. between 1672 and 1675. Elizabeth was b. Dec. 27, 1635 in Farmington, Hartford
      Co., CT and D. May 7, 1696 Farmington, Hartford, CT. Her parents were Deacon Thomas Judd and Elizabeth Freeman. Deacon Thomas Judd was from Langley Parish, Kent, England. He came to America in either 1633 or 1634. He was the second deacon of the church of Farmington, Hartford Co., CT and a deputy of Farmington from 1657 on.
