Some one fetched the father of the latter, and on his arriving and dragging his son out of the house, Southern knocked him down and kicked him. The son then interfered between them, and while so engaged the police came up.—Southern said the father and son were flghting and he was merely trying to separate them when the police appeared.—Alstead was discharged, and Southern was ordered to find sureties and pay costs in the first case, and in the second fined 5s. and expenses.5
