Mrs. Mary Cicely Caine. Widespread regret has been occasioned by the death Mrs. Mary Cicely Caine, wife of Mr. Thomas Caine, 38 Bird Street, Brierfield. Mrs. Caine, whose death occured last Thursday, was only thirty three years of age. She had been in ill-health for over four years, but her death was unexpected and came as a great shock to her many friends. Mr, Caine, who carries on business in Burnley Road as a fruiterer, takes a prominent part in local affairs, and much sympathy will be extended to him and his five years-old son in their bereavement. The funeral took place on Monday at the Inghamite Chapel, Wheatley Lane.⁵
