Turner and Co., at Colne Bridge Mills, Colnebridge, Bradley, and as cotton, rope, and spindle band manufacturers, under the style of Executors of Jonathan Turner, at Owlen Ings Mill, Brighouse.
A summary the debtors' statement of affairs showed that the gross liabilities were £25,629 17s. 11d., of which amount £15,099 15s was expected to rank for divident. Assets were estimated to produce £6.763 2s. 9d., which left a deficiency of £18,336 12s. 3d.
Henry Turner said the £18.OOO deficiency arose in part from the Colnebridge business, and in part from his own personal extravagance.
