The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of ivory charmeuse embroidered with pearls, with a corsage of silver rosea and leaves. Her train of ivory charmeuse was lined with pink georgette, embroidered with a horseshoe of orange blossom and lovers’ knots of silver tissue. The bridal veil of embroidered Brussels net, lent by her sister, Mrs. B. B. Webster, was held by a wreath of orange blossom, jessamine, and white heather, and she carried a sheaf of Harissi lilies.
The bridal attendants were Misses Hanson and W V. Gledhill (cousins of the bride). Miss Archer, and Misses C. Butcher and J. Webster and Master M G. Halstead (nieces and nephew the bride). Two bridesmaids were in mauve crepe-de-chine and one in coral repe-de-chine, and the little train-bearers were in ivory charmeuse. All wore silver bands with mauve ostrich tips in their hair, and the bridesmaids carried bouquets of pink carnations. The little page was in a white satin suit The best man was Mr. D. K. Heath.
After the ceremony a reception was held at Oughtibridge Hall. Mrs. Halstead, who received the guests wore a black silk marocain gown and black panne velvet hat, and carried a bouquet of red carnations. The bridegroom's mother was in a navy silk dress and navy hat. and her bouquet was of cream roses.
The honeymoon is being spent at Harrogate. The bride travelled in a suit of fawn wool marocain and oriental silk hat.4
